Finatal is partnered with a high‐growth, international PE‐backed SaaS business (c. €50 m revenue, 400+ employees) to appoint a Head of Financial Operations. The business operates globally and is executing a finance‐transformation programme to support rapid organic growth and an active M&A strategy, targeting €150 m+ revenue by 2030.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead end‐to‐end Financial Operations across the group, including AP, AR, credit control, cash management, systems governance, data governance and acquisition onboarding. The role is central to strengthening controls, improving efficiency and building a scalable, centralised finance operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise group Financial Operations, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Own AP, AR and credit control processes, improving cash collection, controls and automation.
- Lead cash management, forecasting and treasury controls in partnership with the Group FC.
- Own governance, optimisation and roadmap of financial systems and automation.
- Define and enforce financial data and master‐data governance standards.
- Lead financial operations integration for acquisitions, including systems and process alignment.
- Design and deliver the centralisation of regional finance teams into a shared‐services model.
- Maintain a strong control environment and lead audit interactions related to Financial Operations.
About You
- Senior experience in Financial Operations, Shared Services or Operational Finance.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, credit control and cash management best practice.
- Experience implementing or optimising finance systems and automation.
- Track record of centralising finance operations and integrating acquisitions.
- Confident operating in fast‐growth, multi‐entity, international environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and change‐leadership capability.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred.
