We are supporting a high-growth, private equity-backed EV charging platform with the appointment of a Finance Director to support the next phase of scale-up and infrastructure rollout.

The business is investing heavily in expanding its charging network across the UK, with a significant live pipeline of new sites and substantial committed capital to support growth. Operating within a capital-intensive environment, the organisation is focused on scaling operational capability, strengthening commercial reporting, and supporting ongoing investment activity.

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management across a rapidly scaling infrastructure platform
  • Support ongoing fundraising, debt financing, and investor reporting activities
  • Oversee long-term financial modelling, including project-level investment appraisal and network expansion analysis
  • Partner with operational teams on capex deployment, site rollout performance, and commercial decision-making
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting processes as the business scales
  • Support M&A, partnership, and strategic investment opportunities where required
  • Lead and develop the finance function, supporting continued team growth and capability building
  • Act as a key commercial partner to the executive leadership team and investors

Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Strong understanding of capex-heavy, asset-backed, or infrastructure-style business models
  • Strong financial modelling and commercial finance capability
  • Experience within private equity-backed or high-growth businesses is highly desirable
