The Opportunity:
Finatal is working with a leading established global private investor looking for an experienced individual to join the Investor Relations team. This is an incredibly sought after opportunity to join a close-knit established but growing team in a blue-chip fund that offers unparalleled exposure across the capital structure compared with traditional infrastructure funds.
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in leading all aspects of fundraising project management and preparing due diligence materials for the businesses Infra Strategies
- Drive the preparation of marketing presentations and fund documentation
- Working closely with the head of the team overseeing the work of the junior team members
- Conducting market analysis and research
- Working on new product development and launches
- Assisting in preparations for both ad hoc investor meetings
- Responding to investor specific data requests
- Working on intra fundraising tasks such as valuation presentations, AGMs, LPABs and LP monitoring requests
- Build strong relationships with the businesses Infrastructure investment team and help further integrate the Infrastructure function into the businesses CPS project management team
- Tracking and updating investor information; on-going monitoring of fundraising efforts
- Supporting senior relationship managers
Requirements:
- 4 years+ Infrastructure experience required (Snr Assoc) / 6 years+ (VP)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Fully competent with Excel; modelling skills preferable
- Ability to conduct research, solve problems and learn quickly
- Fully competent with PowerPoint and Word
- Experience in writing high quality presentations and materials, conveying messages in an effective manner
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- Ability to work both in a small team and independently with great responsibility
- Ability to provide training and guidance to more junior team members
- Ability to work well under pressure with very senior personnel
- Experience within one of the analyst programmes at a leading investment bank
- Excellent educational background at a world-class institution
