Finatal is currently working with a digital infrastructure business who are navigating a challenging audit period and require a highly skilled Technical Accountant to join their team. This role is crucial for supporting the business through audit and year-end processes, closing different entities, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Role Overview:

The Technical Accountant will play a critical role in addressing audit issues. You will provide expert technical accounting support, manage the audit process, and implement robust financial controls and procedures. This role demands a highly experienced accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the audit process.
• Support year-end.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Resolve any audit findings from previous periods and implement necessary improvements.
• Conduct a thorough review of current financial processes and identify areas for enhancement.
• Ensure the finance function operates efficiently, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance to the finance team.
• Ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions and compliance with relevant standards.
