Finatal is working with a growing private equity firm seeking a hands-on Finance Manager. The role covers day-to-day fund financial management, regulatory compliance, management reporting, and liaison with external administrators. The role is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential to be extended/full-time upon completion.
The Role
- Maintain accurate books and records, perform reconciliations, manage payables, and support cashflow.
- Prepare management accounts, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit/statutory accounts.
- Submit FCA regulatory returns and maintain documentation.
- Act as primary contact for fund administrators; review NAVs and reporting packs.
- Coordinate financial information between manager, administrator, and auditors.
Candidate Profile
- 4+ years in finance/bookkeeping; FCA returns experience.
- Strong double-entry bookkeeping and management accounts experience.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple entities.
- Knowledge of fund structures (LP/GP/SPVs).
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or qualified.
