A rapidly expanding media company is looking for an immediately available Interim Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations during a critical transitional period. This initial 3–4 month contract offers the chance to step into a hands-on role and ensure strong financial control across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet to ensure accuracy
- Oversee payroll processes and manage relationships with external providers
- Manage stock accounting and support inventory controls
- Handle VAT returns and ensure ongoing compliance
- Support month-end close and prepare management accounts
- Manage and support the Accounts Payable Manager and AP function
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong finance experience within media, retail or hospitality sectors, ideally in a multisite environment
- In-depth knowledge of core financial processes including stock, payroll, and VAT
- Confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
