About the Role
Finatal is seeking an experienced Interim Data Engineer to join a dynamic, private equity-backed Advertising Services Business based in North London . This role will be pivotal in consolidating multiple data sources into a single source of truth , ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake and experience integrating various data sources. Prior experience using ThoughtSpot as a BI tool would be advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential, as this role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable data architecture using Snowflake .
- Integrate multiple disparate data sources into a single, unified data platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
- Optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes.
- Support data analytics and reporting initiatives, ensuring high-quality data is available for business intelligence tools.
- Leverage ThoughtSpot to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance .
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer , ideally in a fast-paced or PE-backed environment.
- Expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines .
- Ability to consolidate and transform multiple data sources into a single source of truth.
- Experience with ThoughtSpot (preferred but not essential).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week in North London
