About the Role:

Finatal is working alongside a private equity-backed professional services business (sub £20 million t/o), that is seeking a highly experienced Interim CFO to lead a full carve-out process from end to end. This is a critical appointment for the organisation’s next phase of growth and transformation.

The successful candidate will have previously delivered at least one full carve-out within a PE-backed environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally confident rolling up their sleeves to ensure financial stability and clarity through a complex separation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full carve-out process, ensuring seamless separation from the parent entity
  • Build and implement standalone financial and operational systems, processes, and controls
  • Support in establishing a fit-for-purpose finance function for the standalone entity
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to inform decision-making during and post-carve out

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a private equity-backed environment
  • End-to-end experience leading at least one full carve-out, preferably within the professional services sector
  • Preferably a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ ACCA or equivalent qualifications)
