An exciting and sought after London-based mid-market private equity fund is seeking a senior associate to lead portfolio monitoring. This role bridges asset-level data and top-level reporting, financial acumen, and an analytical mindset. Ideal for someone from consulting, audit or corporate finance with a passion for tech and data and experience using iLEVEL software.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full end-to-end reporting process across all portfolio companies.
- Using iLEVEL build dashboards and analytical tools.
- Develop and scale a tech-driven, automated reporting function.
- Provide analysis, trends, and insights to support portfolio and investment committees.
- Reconcile and integrate top-down and bottom-up financial data.
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and the wider portfolio.
- Collaborate with finance teams and partners to access and validate data.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including macros or similar tools.
- Ensure effective communication, time management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience in a portfolio monitoring/reporting role, from advisory, consulting or private fund level.
- 4-6 years of experience.
- Experience of iLEVEL is essential.
- Qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA etc).
- Must be highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and natural curiosity around data.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
