A PE-backed professional services platform is seeking a Head of Corporate Development to play a pivotal role in delivering its inorganic growth strategy. This is a senior, hands‑on position with end‑to‑end ownership of transactions, from execution through to integration and value creation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead transactions from term sheet through to completion, including valuation, financial modelling, diligence and negotiations
- Manage multi-stream due diligence processes and adviser coordination
- Own post‑merger integration, including Day 1 readiness, 100‑day planning and synergy tracking
- Establish best‑in‑class PMI processes and governance frameworks
- Support board and investor reporting, including investment papers and value creation tracking
- Deliver strategic and operational projects in support of the wider growth agenda
Candidate profile
- Proven experience leading M&A transactions end‑to‑end within an in‑house, PE‑backed, corporate development environment
- Strong buy and build exposure, ideally within professional or business services (not essential)
- Deep technical capability across modelling, valuation and diligence management
- Demonstrated track record in post‑merger integration and value creation planning and/or execution
- Commercially credible with the ability to operate effectively with senior stakeholders, founders and PE sponsors
