The Opportunity A high-performing, Private Equity–backed Facilities Management business is seeking an ambitious FP&A Manager to play a pivotal role in its next phase of growth. The business operates with a circa £70m turnover, delivers ~10% EBITDA, and is recognised for its strong reputation, resilient margins, and high-quality service offering across its sector.
With a clear value-creation plan in place, the business continues to grow both organically and through M&A, with an ambition to double turnover over the next three years, driven predominantly by acquisitions. This role represents a rare opportunity to sit at the heart of that journey.
The Role Reporting directly to a seasoned Private Equity CFO, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for embedding commercial rigour, elevating financial insight, and professionalising the FP&A function to true Private Equity standards.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment and enjoys being a genuine business partner to senior stakeholders across the group. The successful candidate will help drive better decision-making across cost, margin, sales performance, pipeline management, and capital allocation.

Support integration and performance tracking of acquired businesses
Identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve margins, and enhance commercial outcomes
Help professionalise finance processes, controls, and standards in line with Private Equity expectations
Demonstrate leadership through influence, collaboration, and a strong team-player mindset
The Requirements Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
Proven FP&A experience, ideally within a Private Equity–backed, fast-growth, or acquisitive environment
Strong core FP&A skillset, including financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
Commercially astute, with the ability to translate data into clear insight and recommendations
Comfortable operating in a hands-on role, close to the numbers and the business
A growth-oriented mindset, motivated by scale, complexity, and value creation
Confident business partner with the credibility to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
Demonstrates a leadership mindset, even without large direct line management
Why Join? This is a standout opportunity to join a high-margin, well-regarded business at an exciting point in its Private Equity lifecycle. The FP&A Manager will gain exposure to significant M&A activity, work directly with an experienced PE CFO, and play a central role in shaping the financial engine of a business with bold growth ambitions.
