Finatal is collaborating with a dynamic, high-growth private equity-professional services firm. The company is currently going through a large-scale transformation project and they\’re seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to take on a pivotal role.
They are looking for someone to implement robust reporting, processes, and stakeholder management strategies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. This will be an excellent opportunity to enhance your Private Equity experience. You will be working alongside the CFO who Finatal has a longstanding relationship with and an industry expert CEO.
To be successful you must have SME experience and have experience working within professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve month-end reporting.
- Oversee and enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support scalability.
- Manage the finance team, providing leadership and support to ensure high performance.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on budget forecasts, financial planning, and cash flow management.
- Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidations.
- Prior experience in a Private Equity-backed business is highly desirable.
