A high-growth, Private Equity-backed SaaS business is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Finance Manager to join its London-based finance team during an exciting phase of international expansion and operational transformation. With revenues/ARR of c.£50m and EBITDA of c.£15m, the business has experienced exceptional growth over the last 24 months, doubling in size through a combination of international M&A activity and strong organic performance. The Role: Reporting into the Head of Finance / Finance Director, with regular exposure to the CFO, the Finance Manager will play a central role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations while helping drive the continued professionalisation of the finance function. The successful individual will lead a small team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payroll and VAT processes across both UK and international entities, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and scalable processes are in place to support continued growth. Alongside operational finance leadership, the role will contribute to a range of transformation initiatives, including ERP optimisation, reporting enhancement, data quality improvement and AI-enabled finance projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee core financial operations across AP, AR, Billing, Payroll and VAT processes
- Lead, develop and support a small finance operations team, driving performance and continuous improvement
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance and operational processes are maintained across UK and international entities
- Support month-end close, reconciliations and consolidation processes across multiple jurisdictions
- Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, process efficiency and financial visibility
- Support the continued professionalisation and scaling of the finance function within a high-growth environment
- Partner with senior finance leadership on ERP optimisation and finance systems enhancement initiatives
- Contribute to AI and data-led finance transformation projects aimed at improving automation, reporting and decision support
- Support integration and operational alignment of newly acquired international businesses where required
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors across multiple regions
The Requirements: The business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong technical capability and the ambition to grow within a high-performing environment. Key requirements include:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent professional finance qualification)
- Previous experience within a Finance Manager or operational finance leadership role
- Exposure to SaaS, technology or subscription-based business models advantageous
- Experience within a Private Equity-backed, high-growth or international business environment beneficial
- Strong understanding of financial operations, controls and multi-entity reporting
- Exposure to ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives
- Interest in data, automation and AI-driven finance enhancement
- Demonstrable leadership capability, including mentoring or developing junior team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Commercially aware, adaptable and collaborative in approach
