An international Consumer Services business is seeking a commercially driven Finance Business Partner to join its growing London-based finance team at a pivotal stage of the company’s evolution. With revenues of c.£120m and EBITDA of c.£50m, the business has established a strong international footprint and continues to expand through a combination of sustained organic growth, new product innovation and selective M&A activity. With a future transaction and potential exit process anticipated within the next 18–24 months, the organisation is investing heavily in its commercial and financial capabilities to support the next phase of scale.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to operate in a highly visible commercial finance position with direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic decision-making and transformational change initiatives.
The Role: Reporting directly to the Finance Director, with a strong dotted-line relationship to the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the Board, senior leadership team and operational stakeholders in driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making across the organisation. The successful individual will act as a trusted partner across multiple functions including Sales, Media, Marketing, Technology and Operations, delivering meaningful financial insight, improving commercial awareness and helping shape better business decisions across an international platform. Alongside core business partnering responsibilities, the role will contribute to the ongoing professionalisation of the finance function, including enhancements to reporting, data quality, forecasting capability and AI-enabled finance processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Media, Marketing, Technology and Operations to support commercial performance and strategic initiatives
- Deliver robust financial analysis, insight and modelling to support business decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across multiple business areas
- Drive improved commercial awareness and performance accountability across operational teams
- Develop and enhance KPI reporting, management information and financial visibility across the organisation
- Support the continued professionalisation of the finance function, including reporting enhancements, process improvement and financial controls
- Contribute to data quality initiatives and AI-driven finance transformation projects
- Support evaluation and integration activity relating to opportunistic acquisitions where required
- Work closely with the Finance Director and CFO on strategic projects, growth initiatives and transaction readiness activity
- Influence and challenge stakeholders constructively to drive improved commercial outcomes
The Requirements: The business is seeking a high-calibre and commercially minded finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to operate effectively within a dynamic, international environment. Key requirements include:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent professional finance qualification)
- Demonstrable experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Strong analytical and commercial capability, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insight
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Experience driving process improvement and supporting change initiatives within a growing business
- Interest in data, systems and AI-enabled finance transformation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience within a consumer, services or international business environment advantageous
- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable operating within a fast-growth environment
