Finance Associate - Private Equity Fund

Finatal is working with a growing investment firm that has built a strong track record through disciplined investment and active portfolio management and is now entering an exciting phase of expansion as it broadens its platform. They are looking for an analytically and commercially minded individual to join their finance team.

The Role

• Support fund-level and asset-level finance activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management
• Develop and refine financial models, dashboards, and analytical tools to enhance fund and investment-level decision-making
• Collaborate with fund administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare management accounts and oversee financial control
• Work closely with senior leadership across finance, investment, and asset management teams on process improvement and strategic initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or analytical roles
• Strong grounding in accounting principles and fund reporting
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills, with experience in financial modelling
• Inquisitive and proactive, with a commercial mindset and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable working across functions in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative and hands-on, with a willingness to contribute beyond core responsibilities
