We are working with a Private Equity-backed e-commerce business in the North of England undergoing a significant growth phase, with clear ambition to scale from c.£50m to £100m revenue. As part of this journey, the business is seeking a high-calibre Finance leader to operate as the clear Number 1 in finance, sitting on the Board and acting as a key strategic partner to the CEO and investors.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment, requiring a commercially astute finance leader who can support scale, professionalise the function, and drive performance across a pure-play (or near pure-play) e-commerce model.
Key requirements:- Proven experience operating in pure e-commerce or highly e-commerce-led businesses (essential)
- Track record of scaling businesses between £20m and £100m revenue
- Ability to operate as a true Number 1 / board-level finance leader, comfortable with investor interaction
- Strong commercial, operational and data-driven mindset within a multi-channel digital environment
- Willingness to travel to site c.3 days per week (North of England)
- Prior Private Equity exposure
- Experience in M&A and acquisition integration
