The company is a fast-scaling provider of cloud softphone and customer experience communications tools. We work at the centre of the contact‑centre and CX ecosystem, helping businesses improve how they speak to and support their customers.
They are hiring a Corporate Development Lead to help drive the M&A pipeline and acquisition activity. This is a hands‑on role working closely with senior leadership.
What you’ll do:
- Take first calls with founders, advisors and bankers to understand the business, product and fit.
- Summarise conversations and market positioning into clear notes and deal assessments.
- Build and maintain our M&A pipeline tracking and internal deal reporting.
- Draft IC memos and investment rationale summaries for leadership review.
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end deal process, including financial, commercial and product diligence.
- Work directly with internal teams and external advisors through to close.
What we’re looking for:
- 1-2 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or similar deal environment.
- Has seen at least one M&A transaction through from evaluation to close, and understands how diligence and process work in practice.
- Strong written communication: can turn conversations into structured reasoning and clear memos.
- Comfortable leading external conversations and building rapport quickly with founders and advisors.
- Experience in the contact‑centre / cloud communications / B2B SaaS ecosystem is strongly preferred.
