We're supporting a growing B2B SaaS business to appoint an interim Director of FP&A / Finance Director on a 6-month contract. This is a full-time role with a requirement to be in the Cambridge office 2 days per week.
This is a high-impact position focused on strengthening reporting, driving commercial insight, and supporting leadership with clear, actionable financial information.
The Role- Lead and elevate board reporting, delivering high-quality, insight-driven packs aligned to core SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, LTV/CAC)
- Own FP&A and business performance reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making
- Drive improvements in reporting, processes, and financial rigour, bringing best practice into the business
- Operate as a hands-on finance leader, comfortable working across both strategic and detailed aspects of the role
- Strong experience in B2B SaaS, with a clear understanding of key SaaS metrics and what 'good looks like'
- Proven track record delivering board-level reporting and insight
- Commercially focused, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Hands-on approach; comfortable operating in a lean environment and driving change
- ACA (Big 4) qualified preferred, but not essential
