Finatal are partnered with a fantastic mid-market private equity investor who are looking to add a new junior to their world class team. This is an opportunity for a 1-2 year investment banker to pivot to the buy-side and learn from the best. They have a fairly flexible strategy, but generally focus on buyouts.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysing and executing on investment opportunities in the European mid-market (end-to-end involvement on deals).
- Sourcing: market research/industry analysis to identify attractive trends/themes.
- Working across all diligence workstreams, including producing financial models.
- Assisting in the preparation of IM materials for investment committee.
- Portfolio monitoring and supporting management teams with value creation strategy.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with management teams.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years at a top-tier boutique or bulge bracket investment bank (M&A).
- Strong modelling skills and a developed commercial acumen.
- An exceptional academic track record.
