A high-growth, Private Equity-backed Business Services/Professional Services organisation is seeking an outstanding Head of FP&A to join its London-based leadership team at a pivotal stage of its journey. The business has established itself as a market leader within its sector and continues to execute an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of FP&A will play a central role in driving financial performance, enhancing reporting standards and influencing strategic decision-making across the group.

The successful individual will lead the core FP&A function while partnering closely with the Board, senior operational stakeholders and acquired business units to deliver meaningful insight, improve forecasting accuracy and support continued integration and scale. Beyond traditional FP&A responsibilities, the role offers significant exposure to data transformation and AI-led finance initiatives. Working alongside the CFO, this individual will help define and execute the group’s data and AI strategy, leveraging technology to improve visibility, commercial insight and decision support across the organisation.

  • Lead and develop the Group FP&A function, driving best-in-class planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Deliver high-quality financial insight and performance reporting to the CFO, Board and investors.
  • Support strategic decision-making through robust commercial analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting standards and KPI visibility across the group.
  • Partner with operational leadership teams to enhance business performance and accountability.
  • Support acquisition activity, integration planning and post-deal performance tracking within an active buy-and-build model.
  • Play a key role in preparing the business for future debt/equity raises and eventual exit.
  • Partner directly with the CFO on data strategy, BI enhancement and AI-driven finance transformation initiatives.
  • Influence change across the organisation by embedding scalable processes, tools and performance disciplines.

The business is seeking a high-calibre FP&A leader with experience operating in a fast-growth, performance-driven environment.

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven FP&A leadership experience within a Private Equity-backed, high-growth or acquisitive business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
  • Experience within Business Services, Professional Services or a multi-site/service-led environment preferred.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability.
  • Passion for data, systems and technology-enabled finance transformation, including emerging AI applications.
