This is a highly visible role working closely with senior leadership, investors and external advisers, helping to drive acquisition activity across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and transaction execution through to integration and value creation.

This position suits candidates with current/prior corporate development (in-house) experience as well as those still within Transaction Services, M&A Advisory, or Investment Banking with sufficient deal exposure to make a first move in-house.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include

  • Supporting acquisitions from initial evaluation through to completion.
  • Conducting financial analysis, valuation modelling and investment appraisals.
  • Coordinating financial, legal, tax, commercial and operational due diligence workstreams.
  • Preparing investment papers, board presentations and acquisition recommendations.
  • Supporting negotiations with founders, management teams and advisers.
  • Working alongside senior stakeholders to develop and execute integration plans.
  • Tracking acquisition performance and supporting value creation initiatives.
  • Building relationships with corporate finance advisers, intermediaries and prospective acquisition targets.
  • Supporting wider strategic and corporate development projects as the business continues to scale.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate

  • Experience within corporate development, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution skills.
  • An interest in working within a fast-paced, acquisitive private equity-backed environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an analytical approach to decision making.
