Finatal is partnered with a leading global private markets investment manager seeking an Associate to join its Venture & Growth Equity team in London.
With investment activity across funds, co-investments and secondary transactions, the team is looking to add an associate to play a meaningful role in evaluating and supporting investments across the European tech space.
Responsibilities
- Conducting financial analysis and investment due diligence.
- Evaluating venture and growth equity opportunities across funds, co-investments and secondaries.
- Engaging with investment partners and General Partners and managing the investment pipeline.
- Producing high-quality client materials and contributing to special projects.
- Tracking emerging technologies, venture market trends and industry developments.
Requirements
- 2-5 years' experience within venture capital, growth equity, private equity, fund investing or a related private markets environment.
- Strong interest in technology, innovation and venture investing.
- Experience conducting commercial and investment due diligence.
- Strong financial modelling and investment analysis skills.
- Demonstrated exposure to founders and General Partners with the ability to build credibility.
- Excellent academic track record.
- Experience underwriting fund investments, co-investments or secondaries.
- Willingness to travel periodically as required.
