At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.

You will be part of the team that keeps our revenue accounting running accurately every single day. This is a hands-on, operational role at the heart of how we account for customer contracts under IFRS 15. You will do the essential work that everything else depends on: setting up and maintaining revenue contracts in the ERP system, preparing reconciliations, and producing the accurate detail that feeds our reporting and audits. Much of this work is operational and process-driven, and a lot of it is currently manual — which means your accuracy, consistency, and reliability genuinely matter.

You will become an expert in how our revenue processes actually work end to end, which is exactly the grounding that leads to a successful career in revenue accounting. As you grow, you'll have the chance to take on more and to contribute ideas for doing the work better.

Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Set up and maintain customer revenue contracts in the ERP system, accurately reflecting the accounting treatment provided to you.
  • Prepare account and contract reconciliations for revenue, accrued income, and deferred income, flagging differences for review.
  • Execute the operational, day-to-day tasks of the revenue accounting cycle, including manual processes that require care and consistency.
  • Prepare journals and supporting schedules for the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and gather information to help respond to audit queries.
  • Follow established processes and controls accurately, and escalate questions or anything unusual to senior team members.
  • Help maintain clean, well-organized records that support a strong control environment.
  • Contribute to making our processes better — sharing ideas and supporting improvement and automation efforts as the team evolves.
Required Experience
  • Around 2 years of experience in accounting, ideally with some exposure to revenue or operational accounting.
  • A solid grounding in core accounting principles; awareness of revenue recognition or IFRS 15 is helpful but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuinely careful, consistent approach to repetitive and process-driven work.
  • Well-organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines across multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets, and willing to learn our ERP and reconciliation tools.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a structured team.
  • Studying toward a recognized accounting qualification is a nice to have.
  • Experience using Oracle NetSuite ERP or Blackline is a nice to have.

We are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide. These benefits are available to everyone, regardless of grade, and reflect the values we stand for:
