What will you contribute? Reporting to the VP & Managing Director, Mid Market EMEA, the Global Strategic Connectivity Lead will play a critical role in accelerating Financial Messaging’s growth within the Payment Service Provider (PSP), Electronic Money Institution (EMI), and Digital Bank ecosystem. This is a non-quota carrying, global overlay role, building senior-level relationships, and materially supporting sales efforts into Tier 1 PSPs and leading digital financial institutions. The role acts as a trusted industry connector, leveraging a strong personal network to secure high-value meetings, influence opportunities, and support successful deal execution. While the primary focus will be on Financial Messaging solutions, the role will also be expected to identify and surface adjacent opportunities for PTG and GPP where relevant. The role has a global remit and will work across regions as required.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Strategic Market Development
    • Act as a strategic connector and introducer into Tier 1 PSPs, EMIs, and digital banks globally.
    • Support FM’s entry and expansion into the payments and digital banking verticals, aligned to growth priorities.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the PSP and digital banking ecosystem.
  • Sales Enablement & Deal Support (Overlay)
    • Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, and Leadership teams to support pursuit of strategic opportunities.
    • Secure senior-level meetings and introductions to decision-makers within target PSP, EMI, and digital bank accounts.
    • Act as a trusted advisor during deal cycles by providing market context and customer insight, helping shape value propositions and engagement strategies, and supporting complex, high-value opportunities from early-stage engagement through to close.
  • Relationship & Ecosystem Management
    • Leverage and continually expand a strong network of senior relationships across:
      • Tier 1 PSPs
      • EMIs and digital banks
      • Payments and fintech ecosystem partners
    • Position FM as a strategic, long-term partner within the payments and digital banking community.
  • Opportunity Identification
    • Identify and surface cross-sell or adjacent opportunities that may benefit:
      • FM (primary focus)
      • PTG
      • GPP
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure opportunities are handed over and pursued effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience within the payments, fintech, PSP, EMI, or digital banking sectors.
  • Well-established, senior-level relationships across the PSP / digital banking ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to open doors quickly and gain access to key stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in a global, ambiguous, and opportunistic remit.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
