Finastra is seeking a Contracts Associate to join immediately on a high‑priority business transformation programme. This role supports the review and transfer of customer contracts across a global portfolio and is ideal for legally trained or contract‑focused professionals looking to gain hands‑on commercial transformation experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer contracts to extract key terms, obligations, and transferability requirements
  • Identify legal, commercial, and operational risks and escalate as required
  • Validate contract assessments with peers to ensure accuracy and consistency at scale
  • Maintain contract trackers and dashboards; prepare summaries for senior stakeholders
  • Support contract transfers, assignments, and novations
  • Respond to internal stakeholder queries and contribute to process improvements
  • Assist with drafting and managing legal documentation related to contract migration
About You
  • Legally trained (LLB/LLM, paralegal qualification, or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience reviewing or drafting commercial contracts
  • Strong understanding of contract structure and legal terminology
  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical judgement
  • Comfortable working at pace in a delivery‑focused project environment
  • Strong communicator, organised, and collaborative
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; Excel / Power BI beneficial
