The Senior PR and Communications Manager for Saxo UK is responsible for shaping and executing the UK public relations strategy to enhance Saxo’s reputation, visibility, and media presence across the UK and to contribute to the long‑term growth and profitability of Saxo UK and the Saxo Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with Saxo UK’s business objectives and brand values.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote Saxo UK’s expertise and competitive advantage through opinion pieces, commentary, and speaking engagements.
  • Managing all media relations, including proactive outreach, reactive responses, and crisis communications.
  • Monitoring media coverage, analysing PR campaign performance, and providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for media enquiries and representing Saxo UK in interviews, press briefings, and industry events.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, compliance, and the UK executive team to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.

Your Profile:

  • Proven track record in a senior PR or communications role, ideally within the financial services or fintech sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
  • Strong network of media contacts within the UK financial and business press.
  • Experience managing crisis communications and sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and the ability to deliver long‑term value.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications or memberships are an advantage.

Location: Based in our Canary Wharf, London office. We operate a 4:1 hybrid working policy with additional flexibility.
