We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Global Content at BNY Investments to join our EMEA Marketing team. This role is in London. The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver market‑leading, creative content for consumers and professional clients across a broad range of investments and mediums, promoting BNY Investments products as well as macroeconomic and asset class materials.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with the global content team to deliver the content schedule for primarily the UK, Continental European and APAC markets.
- Collaborate with the team to find new, impactful ways of helping our clients understand our products and capabilities.
- Edit, write and produce to deadlines a wide range of client‑centric content, mindful of the business style and compliance requirements.
- Produce an array of content across marketing campaigns, commentaries, reports and websites.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and BNY Investments’ underlying investment firms to identify opportunities for content collaborations for use in our markets of distribution.
- Adapt content to meet the needs of different activities, such as advertorial, social or paid media content promotion.
- Work with the wider global content team to support BNY Investments across markets and help build best practices across our shared processes.
- Peer review and edit content produced both within the content team and wider marketing team.
- Support translation processes, ensuring review process is followed to ensure language is appropriate in local market.
- Regularly review performance of content in marketing activity to inform future planning formats and topic areas.
- Actively look for improvements in process to achieve efficiencies in reaching relevant markets and cost‑efficient production.
- Work with the BNY Mellon Fund boards to assist with the production of the annual assessment of value reports.
- Understand and adhere to editorial compliance standards and processes.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and policies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and topics of interest to ensure content is relevant and resonates with our professional clients.
- Work with our sales and marketing teams to ensure content is relevant and aligns with commercial priorities and other activities.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to schedule to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Strong command of investment topics as well as a keen sense of business and sales priorities.
- Comfortable writing in both a consumer and professional tone with a strong financial services vocabulary.
- Strategic and creative thinker with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as manage multiple projects across teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; build strong, positive relationships with key external and internal partners.
- Experience in investment writing, SEO optimisation and creative content experience (such as infographics, video and audio) preferable.
- Knowledge of EMEA compliance including FCA requirements and country differences.
- Experience with Adobe WorkFront beneficial.
