PineBridge Investments is seeking a Senior Vice President, Global Product Strategy & Development to play a critical role in establishing a comprehensive product roadmap to enable MIM to bring best in class strategies to market globally. This is a global role, and so experience across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions is important. You should have a strong understanding of the asset management industry, with in depth knowledge of private markets and a good grounding in public markets. This person will bring a proven track record of originating, prioritizing, and sequencing a pipeline of products from ideation through to launch. The ideal candidate will consequently have good experience of the end-to-end product development and launch process and will be an active contributor in delivering this.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supported by Product Intelligence, assess market flows, trends & MIM’s investment expertise and distribution capabilities to help establish MIM’s product road map to facilitate its growth ambitions.
  • Help determine product priorities and sequencing to enable a globally coordinated go to market plan.
  • In partnership with Investments, Sales, and other key stakeholders, identify new/tangential investment strategies that align with MIM’s investment expertise and distribution capabilities.
  • Critically assess the commercial viability of prospective product initiatives to ensure alignment with MIM’s strategic objectives.
  • In collaboration with the broader Product team and support functions, determine appropriate structure and terms for new offerings to give MIM the best chance of success in identified target distribution regions & channels.
  • Own & drive the establishment of new products from ideation through development, implementation, & launch.
  • Present information and recommendations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a clear, confident manner, including Board and Committee Members and Senior Leadership.
  • Build strong and robust relationships with colleagues across functions to ensure effective product delivery including Client Group, Investments, Legal, Operations, and Senior Management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues; instill confidence in your ability and constructively challenge thinking where needed.
  • Uphold a strong risk management and compliance culture within the Product function, operating within regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure that MIM meets its fiduciary responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years dedicated product strategy & development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, from an accredited college or university.
  • Significant exposure to private markets strategies and familiarity with public markets.
  • Successful track record of ideating, developing, and launching products across regions globally.
  • Deep understanding of markets and client demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture strategic relationships with team members across functions and levels of seniority to lead and influence the determination and execution of initiatives.
  • Decisive and able to work independently to drive initiatives forward.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities while staying organized to achieve success for the firm.

Salary Range: $200,000-225,000 USD annually + bonus + benefits
