As Head of Brand & Product Marketing at CMC Markets, you will lead the development and delivery of brand strategy, creative campaigns and sponsorship activity across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, regional marketing teams, product, compliance and external agencies to strengthen CMC Markets’ brand, increase awareness and ensure a consistent and distinctive customer experience across every touchpoint.

Your mission: provide confident strategic and creative leadership during a period of maternity cover, maintaining momentum across key brand initiatives while delivering integrated campaigns and sponsorship activations that support CMC Markets’ commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve CMC Markets’ brand strategy, positioning, messaging and creative platform, ensuring the brand remains distinctive, relevant and commercially effective.
  • Lead the development and delivery of integrated brand campaigns across channels including TV, BVOD, digital video, social media, audio, out-of-home, content and partnerships.
  • Set a high creative standard, leading the briefing, development and approval of campaign concepts, brand storytelling and creative assets.
  • Manage CMC Markets’ sponsorship portfolio, overseeing partner relationships, rights activation, campaign integration, content creation, hospitality, governance and performance measurement.
  • Develop sponsorship activation plans that maximise brand visibility, audience engagement and commercial value across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Create and maintain clear Ideal Customer Profiles, audience segments and customer propositions to inform campaign strategy, creative development, media planning and go-to-market activity.
  • Use customer research, market insight, brand tracking and campaign performance data to identify opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage creative, media, production and research agencies, ensuring briefs are strategically robust and work is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Act as a senior brand guardian, ensuring consistency across visual identity, tone of voice, customer communications and regional marketing activity.
  • Partner with product and commercial teams to support product positioning, proposition development, launches and go-to-market planning where required.
  • Work closely with performance marketing, CRM, content, social and regional teams to connect long-term brand building with customer acquisition, engagement and retention objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing or a related discipline, including experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong strategic and creative experience, with a proven record of developing distinctive brand platforms, compelling creative briefs and integrated campaigns.
  • Experience managing significant sponsorships or brand partnerships, including activation planning, rights management, stakeholder relationships and measurement.
  • Demonstrable experience leading major above-the-line and multi-channel campaigns from initial strategy through to production, launch and evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, customer research, Ideal Customer Profiles and insight-led marketing planning.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to connect brand investment and sponsorship activity to measurable business and customer outcomes.
  • Experience managing substantial marketing budgets, external agencies and complex production processes.
  • Confident senior stakeholder manager with the ability to influence, challenge and align teams across marketing, product, commercial, legal and compliance functions.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, wealth management, investing or another regulated industry is advantageous.
  • Experience delivering TV, BVOD or other large-scale broadcast campaigns is a strong advantage.
  • Product marketing experience including proposition development, positioning, messaging and go-to-market planning - is beneficial but not essential.
