This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to lead and evolve our intermediary-focused marketing function. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and delivering a high-impact marketing strategy that drives AUM growth, strengthens Puma’s brand position, and deepens relationships across the UK financial adviser and wealth management community. Operating as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, the role will oversee the full marketing lifecycle across campaigns, product marketing, digital channels and thought leadership, ensuring all activity is tightly aligned to commercial outcomes, distribution priorities and market opportunities. You will play a critical role in positioning Puma as a leading voice within the intermediary and high-net worth investment space, while building a scalable marketing infrastructure capable of supporting future product launches and continued market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership
    • Define and deliver a clear, data-driven marketing strategy aligned to Puma Investments’ commercial growth ambitions
    • Lead marketing planning across product lines, ensuring alignment with distribution, product and operational teams
    • Identify opportunities to increase market share within the intermediary, HNW and mass affluent segments
    • Act as the senior marketing voice within the business, influencing across levels, including executive
  • Intermediary & Product Marketing Excellence
    • Own the development and execution of marketing initiatives targeted at financial advisers, wealth managers and private banks
    • Ensure all campaigns and collateral are tailored to how the intermediary market consumes and responds to marketing
    • Lead the creation of high-quality product marketing materials, translating complex investment propositions into compelling adviser-focused narratives
    • Develop frameworks to successfully launch new products into market
  • Brand, PR & Thought Leadership
    • Define and execute a brand strategy that differentiates Puma within a competitive tax-efficient investment landscape
    • Lead engagement with PR agencies and external partners to amplify market presence
    • Build Puma’s thought leadership profile within intermediary, HNW and mass affluent channels, including editorial placements, insights and commentary
    • Ensure consistent, high-quality representation of the brand across all channels
  • Digital & Campaign Delivery
    • Oversee the end-to-end digital marketing ecosystem, including website, email marketing and lead generation journeys
    • Design and optimise nurture campaigns to support product promotion and investor engagement
    • Own performance tracking across all channels, embedding a test-and-learn, data-led approach to campaign optimisation
    • Drive integration across digital, PR, events and content to deliver cohesive campaigns
  • Commercial Performance & Insight
    • Ensure all marketing activity is directly tied to measurable commercial outcomes
    • Establish and track KPIs across AUM growth, lead generation, adviser engagement and campaign ROI
    • Use performance data and insight to continuously refine strategy and improve impact
    • Build robust forecasting and reporting frameworks to support senior decision-making
  • Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
    • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, providing clear direction and coaching
    • Act as a senior figurehead within the team, setting standards for quality, accountability and pace
    • Ensure strong workflow management, planning discipline and execution capability across all marketing activities
    • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including agencies and strategic partners
    • Oversee budgets, governance and compliance processes to ensure all activity meets regulatory requirements

Experience and Skills required

  • Significant experience in a senior marketing role within investment management, financial advice or the broader financial services sector, balancing strategic and operational marketing service for a business
  • Demonstrable understanding of the UK intermediary / IFA market and wealth management landscape, with experience marketing investment products (experience with tax efficient products beneficial, but not essential)
  • Demonstrable track record of building and evolving a brand to drive commercial growth
  • Experience working with PR agencies, editorial content and thought leadership platforms
  • Proven ability to operate across both strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Demonstrable commercial mindset with experience linking marketing activity to revenue and AUM growth
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing channels, including CRM, email distribution and website ownership
  • Experience designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns and nurture journeys
  • Analytical capability with a focus on metrics, insight and optimisation
  • Excellent content development skills, particularly in translating complex investment concepts into engaging narratives
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to build, develop and motivate teams
  • Highly organised with the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
