The Account Executive role at FinancialReports is a full-time remote position responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts in the financial reporting and analytics space. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting virtual meetings and demos, preparing proposals, negotiating contract terms, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client support. The Account Executive will monitor account performance, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and provide regular updates and insights to clients. This role also requires accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and the use of CRM tools to track activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in client relationship management, account management, and customer success within B2B or technology-driven services.
- Experience in consultative selling, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts with business stakeholders and decision makers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial or technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, online meeting tools, and standard productivity software for managing pipelines, reporting, and documentation.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret financial data, performance metrics, and market trends to support client recommendations.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely across multiple time zones and with cross-functional teams.
- Background in finance, accounting, SaaS, or data/analytics services is preferred; prior experience as an Account Executive or similar role is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
