The Role

FT Professional is a dynamic and commercially important area of the business, serving over 15,000 corporate, government and education customers worldwide. We’re seeking a Reporting Analyst with strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through data to join our growing Data Insights team. You will help unlock insights that drive decision-making across Marketing, Customer Success, Sales and Operations. From supporting core reporting to developing impactful dashboards, your work will enhance our understanding of the customer journey and the performance of our multi-product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and deployment of reports using tools including Salesforce and Looker
  • Act as subject matter expert for FT Professional reporting tools and key metrics
  • Support data quality and consistency by standardising core metrics and dimensions
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Collaborate with BI Reporting teams to ensure alignment across data services
  • Explore opportunities to automate and improve reporting workflows
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to report users
  • Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy across all reporting outputs

Required Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience as an analyst with strong SQL and advanced Excel skills
  • Commercially aware and business goal–oriented
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex findings clearly
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytics projects
  • Experience using Salesforce, Looker or similar tools

Desirable

  • Experience in a B2B, subscription or media-based environment
  • Familiarity with data visualisation and presentation techniques
  • Exposure to B2B sales
