We are partnering with one of the leading multinational supermarkets, who have previously been listed in the top 3 largest retailers in the world! They pride themselves on their inclusive culture, where diversity is celebrated, and ongoing learning and progression is encouraged.
They are looking to secure an experienced and talented Finance Business Partner to join their Customer team. This is a crucial role in defining and achieving both financial and non-financial objectives. Your knowledge and expertise will be key in guiding the team towards optimised market spend.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the leadership team to deliver marketing communications within budget.
- Carrying out detailed financial analysis, interpreting and communicating the findings with senior colleagues.
- Ensuring that all spend is prioritised based on company objectives and returns.
- Developing econometric modelling with media teams to optimise media spend.
- Reviewing and challenging Production spend to ensure efficiency.
- Identifying, validating and challenging efficiency savings with the Customer procurement team.
- Supporting Customer teams with projects and initiatives.
- Identifying and pro-actively highlighting risks and work to mitigate issues.
- Advise, challenge and inform colleagues to reduce cost of waste and deliver against targets.
- Business partner with end to end team, ensuring the delivery of projects across the business.
- Work with finance and non-finance colleagues in commercial and channels, to ensure we unlock the maximum value.
- Adhoc work and projects that support commercial leadership team deliver against targets.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work closely with, and build relationships with, senior colleagues.
- Strong analysis skills and ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Resilient & willing to challenge the status quo.
Whatβs on offer?
- Salary in the region of Β£55,000 – Β£65,000 depending on experience.
- Annual bonus scheme.
- Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
