This is a 12-month FTC opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Customer Operations Team, reporting into the Portfolio Delivery Lead. Within this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering sustainable, tactical, strategic, and transformation changes across our Customer Operations area in collaboration with our Data and Technology teams. They will work with internal teams and outsourced partners to deliver the strategic plan and continuous improvement initiatives. The Project Manager will be accountable to the Change Management Office (CMO) for delivery in accordance with the defined governance, standards, and controls.
Key Priorities
- Reporting directly to the executive and leading SteerCo meetings.
- Providing oversight of contractors involved in delivering individual roadmap projects, as part of the overall portfolio of initiatives.
- Being accountable to the CMO for delivery according to governance, standards, and controls.
- Ensuring projects and programmes are well-defined and properly managed.
- Leading scoping, prioritising, initiating, and delivering roadmap-linked projects with Roadmap Owners, BCMs, and Agile teams.
- Understanding scheme strategies and translating them into actionable activities.
- Building strong stakeholder partnerships and effectively communicating key actions and results.
Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Experience in delivering projects from inception to closure using recognised project delivery methodologies.
- Strong financial acumen, preferably with knowledge of the insurance industry, insolvency, or restructuring principles.
- Experience in risk management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of governance, standards, and controls in project management.
- Experience with planning and schedule management using MSP, including milestones, dependencies, CPA, baselining, and change control.
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft suite and advanced knowledge of Change & Project Management principles.
