The Financial Reporting Council (FRC)’s mission is to serve the public interest by setting high standards of corporate governance, reporting, and audit, and holding to account those responsible for delivering them.

The FRC has been through a period of significant transformation, increasing its impact and influence and building its capability and capacity. Alongside supporting public trust and confidence in audit, corporate reporting, and governance, it will play a key role in supporting and contributing to UK economic growth and competitiveness.

The new Technical Director in Corporate Reporting Review (CRR) will be a key member of the Supervision Division and will ensure the FRC’s approach to corporate reporting is fit for the future. The successful candidate will oversee the technical quality of the work of the CRR team, including line management responsibility. This person will also support the CRR Director in identifying non-technical areas for improvement and supporting new initiatives.

This person will be a fully qualified accountant and demonstrate deep knowledge and significant experience as a technical accounting specialist, including sustainability reporting, and possess the ability to lead and inspire a highly skilled team.
