The FRC’s Audit and Assurance Policy team is responsible for setting auditing and ethical standards for UK audits and issuing guidance to support their implementation. Job Description Accountabilities:
- Supporting the Head of Assurance Technology in drafting guidance on the application of technology in audit, including practical illustrative examples, and influencing international standard setting boards.
- Engaging with audit firms, third party technology providers, UK regulators and international standard setters to obtain insights and support technology adoption.
- Helping standard setting in the UK in response to evolving technology.
- Influencing and supporting international standard setters (in audit, assurance and ethics) in their standard setting and guidance in this area.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent FRC approach to technology in audit.
- Building and maintaining professional expertise and network.
