Recruit UK are hiring for a well-established, Marlow-based Independent Financial Advice firm that has grown significantly through acquisition and is now seeking an experienced Financial Planner to take on a transitioning client bank. This is a true hunter/farmer opportunity, offering a blend of inherited clients from exiting principals alongside the autonomy and support to generate new business. The firm operates on a whole-of-market basis, providing full independence across products and providers, and prides itself on a strong culture and realistic, structured client handovers.
The Role:
- Manage and develop an inherited client bank from senior advisers
- Generate new business opportunities alongside existing relationships
- Deliver holistic financial planning, including cashflow modelling (Voyant)
- Advise across pensions, investments, and tax-efficient planning strategies
- Maintain high compliance and client service standards
What They’re Looking For:
- 5–10 years’ experience as a Financial Planner within an IFA environment
- Chartered or working towards (salary reflective if not yet Chartered)
- CAS & SPS held
- Strong experience with cashflow modelling (Voyant essential)
- Exposure to VCT/EIS/Business Relief planning advantageous
- Commercial mindset with both relationship management and business development skills
Salary & Benefits:
- £80,000–£85,000 basic (c.£75k if not yet Chartered)
- Discretionary bonus
- Support to achieve Chartered Status if required
- Hybrid working (typically 3 days in office)
- Structured client handovers and realistic validation
