A bespoke, client-centric independent financial planning firm are looking to add a Trainee Financial Planner to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a genuinely client-focused business that values long-term relationships, high-quality advice, and the highest professional standards. The firm advises a broad and diverse client base and continues to grow year on year. It also has a strong reputation for developing its people and supporting long-term career progression.

Due to a consistent flow of leads and referrals from a long-standing client base, alongside the acquisition of an existing client book, the firm is looking to appoint a new planner with previous advisory experience to manage and develop these relationships. This role would suit someone who holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, has previous experience within an advisory role, and is now looking to transition into a firm with more support, so they can spend their time focusing on the advising side of their role. There is full paraplanning and administrative support provided alongside hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic financial planning and regulated advice across a wide range of case types
  • Conduct detailed fact-finding, cashflow modelling, and suitability assessments
  • Create and deliver tailored financial plans aligned to clients’ objectives and risk profiles
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication
  • Work closely with paraplanners to produce accurate research and suitability reports

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Proven experience advising clients and managing long-term relationships
