Contract: FTC – 12 months. Working hours: 35 hours per week (full time, flexible part‑time options). Salary: £53,833–£65,000 (dependent on skills and experience). Location: London, hybrid working.

Reporting to: Business Information Manager.

Role Overview

Senior member of the Business Intelligence team, responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reporting solutions that support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear, user‑friendly Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Design, build, test and deploy Power BI solutions, ensuring accuracy, performance and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in reporting and data quality.
  • Act as the go‑to specialist for resolving complex BI challenges, optimising queries, managing capacity and access.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, presenting insights confidently and driving adoption of reporting tools.
  • Support leadership by providing reporting expertise and advice on BI initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with business intelligence software, preferably Power BI, and knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to improving reporting processes.
  • Experience managing people or projects is desirable.
  • Strong team player, attention to detail, and project management skills.
