About The Organisation

The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent, not‑for‑profit organisation that plays a vital role in UK financial services. Each day, we help resolve disputes between consumers or small businesses and their financial service providers.

What You'll Do

The Organisation & Workforce Transformation Partner will provide leadership on the people and organisational changes required to deliver the Modernising Redress programme. You will work across the organisation, alongside the review of our Enabling Functions, translating transformation and organisation design activity into clear, deliverable workforce change and cultural change. The role includes leading formal employee consultation and redundancy processes, ensuring workforce impacts are understood, risks are managed, and change is delivered at pace in a legally robust, consistent, and aligned manner. You will bridge the gap between cultural change, organisation design, programme delivery and employee relations, enabling the organisation to move confidently from design into implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience of delivering formal consultation and redundancy processes linked to organisation design or transformation activity.
  • Strong understanding of employment relations and employment law as they apply to large‑scale change.
  • Experience undertaking change‑impact analysis and workforce transition planning across multiple teams or functions.
  • Experience of working with, influencing and advising senior leaders through complex and sensitive workforce change.
  • Experience of working cross‑collaboratively with various stakeholder groups and peer HR colleagues.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

  • Flexibility: Work your way — remote, hybrid or in‑office.
  • Wellbeing: Health plan, gym memberships, mental health support.
