My client, a boutique and highly regarded wealth management firm based in Brighton, is seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Planner to join their growing business. This is a rare opportunity for a confident and capable adviser to work with an exceptional client base—primarily high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and retirees—with typical portfolios averaging £1 million in AUM.

With over £150 million currently under management, the firm is focused on delivering truly bespoke, client-first advice. This position offers a collaborative, professional environment where integrity and high standards are central to every client relationship.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong personal track record in financial planning and be comfortable leading relationships with 150+ families or connections. While this role does not come with an immediate client bank, the firm is particularly interested in advisers who can bring existing relationships or assets with them—especially those without restrictive covenants. For the right individual, there is potential to earn into equity through the value of their client book.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions across pensions, investments, estate planning, and tax optimisation.
  • Build and manage relationships with a sophisticated HNW client base, focused on long-term strategic advice.
  • Proactively develop new client relationships through referrals, networks, and personal business development.
  • Collaborate closely with investment managers and internal teams to deliver seamless client service.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethics, discretion, and technical proficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Planner or IFA, with a background in servicing HNW clients.
  • Chartered or near-Chartered status strongly preferred.
  • A demonstrable ability to generate or bring client relationships and assets.
  • Comfortable working in a self-driven environment with a strong sense of professional responsibility.

What’s on Offer:

  • A basic salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience and background.
  • A flexible and tailored bonus/validation structure based on the role, client base, and earning potential.
  • The opportunity to earn into equity based on the value of any client book brought over.
  • A professional, forward-thinking team culture.
  • Significant autonomy and strategic input within a growing business.

If you are a senior adviser with high standards, deep technical capability, and the ability to build or bring valuable relationships, this is a firm where your impact will be truly recognised.
