Job Description This is a paraplanning role with genuine substance β€” at a firm that has built its name on thoughtful, personalised financial planning, for clients whose financial lives span the full spectrum β€” from driven entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals still actively building their wealth, to those who have reached a point where protecting and passing it on wisely matters most. The business is small, close-knit, and deliberately so. Every person in the team contributes to something that feels considered rather than transactional, and the paraplanner here plays a central role in that. Working directly alongside the financial planning team, you will be responsible for producing technically accurate and compliant financial plans, cashflow models and recommendation reports, carrying out product and investment research, preparing meeting documentation and ensuring that every piece of work that reaches a client reflects the firm's commitment to clarity and care. Cashflow modelling experience, ideally using Voyant, is important in this role. The clients are high-net-worth individuals, and the advice spans the full range of financial planning β€” pensions and retirement planning, investment and wealth management, protection, inheritance, and tax planning. You will need to be technically strong across all of these areas and comfortable translating that technical knowledge into something that is meaningful in order for your client to understand and act upon. The firm invests in its people with the same commitment it brings to its clients. Hands-on training, dedicated development time, and genuine encouragement to grow are all part of how the team operates. This is a collaborative environment where your insight and contribution is taken seriously. The right candidate would ideally hold the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS), with Chartered status or substantial progress towards it, preferred. A minimum of two years' paraplanning experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning tools such as Voyant or Xplan is required as well as the mindset to embrace latest AI technology.
