My client is a well-established, boutique Chartered financial planning firm based near West Grinstead. For over 20 years, they\’ve provided whole-of-market, independent financial advice to a loyal and diverse client base including HNW retirees, business owners, families, and professionals across Sussex. They currently manage around 400 client relationships, with investment portfolios ranging from entry-level to GBP1m+.
The firm has grown organically through referrals and long-term client retention, underpinned by a commitment to outstanding service. The team consists of two Financial Advisers, a Senior Paraplanner, and experienced support staff. Professional development is actively encouraged, with full funding for exams and structured pay increases for each qualification achieved.
As part of their ongoing growth, they are now creating a brand-new position for a Paraplanner to work closely on a 1:1 basis with one of the firm\’s Chartered Financial Planners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with a Chartered Adviser to support client advice delivery
- Prepare detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Undertake technical research and analysis
- Support cashflow modelling and advice compilation
- Play an active role in client meetings (where appropriate)
- Progress your qualifications with mentorship and structured development
What They\’re Looking For:
- Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma (or already qualified)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of financial planning
- Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role
- Proactive, curious and eager to learn
- A team player with strong attention to detail and communication skills
