Research & Analysis Associate (Junior Paraplanner)
London | Hybrid
Salary: £38,000 - £44,000
I'm partnering with a well-established boutique Chartered Financial Planning firm in London that is looking to add a Research & Analysis Associate (Junior Paraplanner) to its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has already built experience supporting advisers and is looking to further develop their technical knowledge within a professional, client-focused environment.
You'll work closely with experienced paraplanners and advisers, helping to deliver high-quality advice through research, analysis, report writing and new business processing. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and takes pride in producing accurate, compliant work.
What you'll be doing:
- Researching pensions and investments and preparing recommendation packs
- Obtaining information from providers and analysing client arrangements
- Producing client-facing presentations and supporting meeting preparation
- Writing suitability reports and preparing compliant files
- Processing pension and investment applications from submission through to completion
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating CRM systems
- Working alongside advisers and paraplanners to support the end-to-end advice process
What they're looking for:
- Minimum of three R0 exams completed and progressing towards DipPFS
- Previous experience supporting IFAs, advisers or paraplanners
- Good knowledge of pensions and investments
- Experience writing suitability reports and handling new business submissions
- Familiarity with investment platforms and pension providers
- Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities
