A Diploma-qualified Paraplanner is sought to join one of the UK's leading Chartered Wealth Management firms. The Opportunity:

  • Work closely with high-performing Financial Advisers, providing end-to-end technical paraplanning support.
  • Gain exposure to client meetings, technical discussions, and cashflow-led financial planning, with a pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive end-to-end paraplanning support to senior Financial Advisers.
  • Preparing detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, tax, and retirement planning.
  • Conducting technical research and product analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Attending client meetings in the City office as you progress in the role.
  • Supporting and contributing to recommendation discussions and financial planning strategies.
  • Presenting Voyant cashflow modelling outputs to clients at review meetings (training provided where required).
  • Liaising closely with advisers, paraplanning colleagues, and the wider technical team.
  • Ensuring all advice is fully compliant and meets FCA standards.
  • Supporting ongoing development of client relationships alongside advisers.
  • Managing workflow and maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
  • Minimum 2 years' paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and retirement planning.
  • Experience preparing or supporting suitability reports.
  • Exposure to cashflow modelling (Voyant desirable but not essential - training provided).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Confident working closely with advisers and attending client meetings.
  • Ambition to progress into a Financial Adviser role.
