A Diploma-qualified Paraplanner is sought to join one of the UK's leading Chartered Wealth Management firms. The Opportunity:
- Work closely with high-performing Financial Advisers, providing end-to-end technical paraplanning support.
- Gain exposure to client meetings, technical discussions, and cashflow-led financial planning, with a pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive end-to-end paraplanning support to senior Financial Advisers.
- Preparing detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, tax, and retirement planning.
- Conducting technical research and product analysis to support client recommendations.
- Attending client meetings in the City office as you progress in the role.
- Supporting and contributing to recommendation discussions and financial planning strategies.
- Presenting Voyant cashflow modelling outputs to clients at review meetings (training provided where required).
- Liaising closely with advisers, paraplanning colleagues, and the wider technical team.
- Ensuring all advice is fully compliant and meets FCA standards.
- Supporting ongoing development of client relationships alongside advisers.
- Managing workflow and maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
- Minimum 2 years' paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and retirement planning.
- Experience preparing or supporting suitability reports.
- Exposure to cashflow modelling (Voyant desirable but not essential - training provided).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Confident working closely with advisers and attending client meetings.
- Ambition to progress into a Financial Adviser role.
