This is a highly commercial, client-facing advisory role focused on converting inbound leads generated through the firm's established marketing activity into long-term client relationships and assets under management. The Opportunity
- You will be responsible for engaging with inbound enquiries, conducting structured discovery meetings and delivering holistic financial planning and investment advice that converts prospects into ongoing clients.
- The role is both commercially focused and technically robust, requiring strong investment knowledge alongside excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to inbound leads generated through marketing activity
- Conducting structured discovery meetings to assess client objectives and suitability
- Building trust and rapport with prospective clients through high-quality advice delivery
- Converting prospects into assets under management through effective financial planning
- Managing a strong conversion pipeline and progressing clients through the advice journey
- Providing holistic regulated financial advice across pensions, investments, ISAs, retirement and tax-efficient strategies
- Explaining investment strategies, portfolio construction, market behaviour and risk in a clear and confident manner
- Identifying wider financial planning opportunities for clients
- Producing compliant suitability reports and maintaining accurate client records
- Ensuring all advice meets FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and internal compliance standards
- Collaborating closely with paraplanning, administration and onboarding teams
- Maintaining CRM systems and pipeline management processes to a high standard
Requirements
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a regulated Financial Adviser or Wealth Adviser
- Experience in a lead generation or inbound advice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions and financial planning
- Proven track record of converting prospects into ongoing client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness within a regulated advice framework
- Confident explaining complex investment concepts to clients
- Experience using CRM and back-office systems effectively
- Chartered Financial Planner status or progression towards Chartered is desirable
