Financial Planner – Manage c.£40m/50m AUM of existing clients

South West London offices

Servicing role – no need to generate new business

£70k – £80k basic salary plus bonuses

3 – 5 years of advising experience needed

My client are an independent wealth planning firm with offices near Putney, South West London. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across London and Surrey. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 300 clients (£350m AUM) with assets ranging from £500k – multiple millions. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes.

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Financial Planner with 3 – 5 years of experience who will manage c.£40m/£50m AUM. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably Chartered or aspires to work towards Chartered status. However, my client will consider someone with a restricted advice background. You will have dedicated admin and paraplanning support. Most of the funds under management are held on AJ Bell, Aviva and various DFM\’s. If you have knowledge of Intelligent Office, Xplan or FE Analytics this would be helpful.

Salary: £70k – £80k (negotiable) + bonuses
