Independent Financial Planner Vacancy

3+ years of advising experience required with active CASEpsom offices (Surrey). Manage £300k of ongoing advice fees.

Guaranteed minimum bonus in year 1 of £8.5k

£70k - £75k basic salary with bonuses on top.

My client is a Chartered independent wealth planning firm with offices across the UK who offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across the UK. In their current setup, they manage the affairs of clients with assets ranging from £150k - £10m.

The advisers consult on:

  • Pensions
  • Investments
  • Tax planning
  • Cashflow modelling
  • Retirement planning
  • Protections
  • Some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes

They have longstanding relations with accountancy and solicitor practices who refer business and have big expansion plans over the next 5 years.

The support team comprises experienced Administrators & Paraplanners who are actively encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams. They have Admin and Paraplanning Managers who look after them so as an Adviser your focus can be on being client facing.

The Managing Director requires an experienced Financial Planner in their Epsom office who will take over client banks from a retiring adviser. You will manage £300k in recurring revenue each but also generate some new business opportunities. This role will suit a candidate with 3 years of advising experience.

You will be meeting clients face to face and virtually and covering topics such as pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, IHT, bonds, ISAs and the occasional VCT/EIS (but not extensively).

Salary: £70k - £75k (negotiable) + bonuses above validation (30%)
