My client is an independent wealth planning firm with offices near Bishops Stortford. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners based across Essex, Herts, and London. They manage the affairs of 300 clients with assets ranging from £250k - £8m.

The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes. They have longstanding relations with a solicitor practice who refer business to them, and the advisers are not targeted as they focus on ensuring clients receive the best service.

The Managing Director is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Planner who will manage c.£40m AUM. This is a servicing role which will free up the time of another adviser who will focus on generating new business. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably Chartered or aspires to work towards Chartered status. However, my client will consider someone with a restricted advice background.

You will have dedicated admin and paraplanning support. Most of the funds under management are held on Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell amongst others. Knowledge of Intelligent Office, Cashcal, or FE Analytics would be helpful.

If this role sounds of interest or any other roles I am working on, please get in touch at peter@financialdivisions.co.uk.
