An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join a well-established and highly respected independent financial planning firm based in Surrey. This business has built its reputation on providing holistic, client-focused financial planning advice and has developed a loyal client base through long-term relationships, excellent service standards and a commitment to delivering genuinely independent advice.

Due to continued growth and succession planning, they are seeking a Diploma-qualified Financial Adviser to take over an active and revenue-generating client bank. This role is ideally suited to an adviser who enjoys building lasting client relationships and delivering high-quality financial planning without the pressure of aggressive sales targets or constant prospecting.

The Opportunity

You will inherit an established portfolio of engaged clients located across the South East and wider UK, allowing you to focus on delivering advice, strengthening relationships and identifying planning opportunities rather than generating business from scratch. You will provide holistic, whole-of-market advice across:

  • Pensions and retirement planning
  • Investment and wealth management strategies
  • Inheritance Tax and estate planning
  • Protection planning
  • Tax-efficient financial planning
  • Ongoing client reviews and relationship management

Supported by an experienced paraplanning and administration team, you will be able to focus your time on delivering outstanding client outcomes rather than administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience providing regulated financial advice
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and holistic financial planning
  • Excellent relationship-building and client management skills
  • A client-centric approach to advice delivery
  • Ambition to continue developing professionally, including progression towards Chartered status if not already achieved
  • Ability to manage and develop long-term client relationships effectively
  • Based within a commutable distance of Epsom/Sutton, as the role is predominantly office based
